21 Jul Working visit of the Executive Secretary to the APSTA’s Chairperson

From January 28-30 2020, a delegation of the African Peace Support Trainers Association (APSTA) led by the Executive Secretary Dr Oyono Cecile, attended a working session at the Ecole de Maintient de la Paix Alioune Blondin Beye (EMPABB) in Bamako. The working session which aimed at finalizing the work plan of the organization for the year 2020, was chaired by APSTA’s Chairperson, Colonel Major Mody Berethe, Director EMPABB. APSTA officials also had the opportunity to meet with major national and international actors in charge of peacekeeping in Africa including: -The Minister of Defense, General Ibrahima Dahirou Dembélé -The Minister of Security and Civilian Protection, General Salif Traoré -the Representative of the African Union for Mali and the Sahel, H.E Pierre Buyoya -The représentative of ECOWAS in Mali H.E Dr. Haminou Boly.
