APSTA Attends The Virtual Launch Of The ChallengesForum On Mission Leadership Digital Tool
The African Peace Support Trainers Association, APSTA, led by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Cécile OYONO, took part in the virtual launch of the Challenges Forum Mission Leadership Digital Tool on May 3, 2023. This great platform has been developed for free utilization intended to help MIs and training partners on Mission Leadership. APSTA is pleased to be associated with this system and urges all MIS and Regional units/offices to adopt it in addition to their training curricula. The Challenges Forum’s Mission Leadership toolkit is a genuine and impressive international team effort, developed by the Challenges Forum Partners in consultation with the UN Department of Peace Operations (DPO) and Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA). The International Forum for the Challenges of Peace Operations (Challenges Forum) is responsible for developing the digital mission leadership tool, in close cooperation with expert institutions in UN member states and the UN secretariat. The Challenges Forum has a broad partnership that includes many IAPTC members.
