United States Defence Attaché visits APSTA Secretariat


The United States Marine Attaché, Embassy of the United States of America in Cameroon, Major Emma C. Quinn and the Assistant Defence Attaché, Mr. Joel Erman, paid a courtesy visit to the Secretariat, African Peace Support Trainers Association (APSTA), on Friday 11 August 2023. Received by the APSTA Executive Secretary, Dr. Cecile Oyono THOM, the dignitaries got first-hand information on the raison d’etre, programmes and activities of the Association, during a briefing in the Situation Room, by APSTA Deputy Executive Secretary/Programmes Coordinator, Mr. Christian ICHITE. The Secretariat highlighted the Association’s milestones over the last 20 years of its existence, as well as current areas of focus on programmes/activities, underscoring domains of possible partnership
